- **Event Description**: Jonas Myers is Cellar Cat's Artist-in-Residence for 2026 for GREAT reason.   Cellar Cat owners Holly, Jim and Greg live for music.  As their tastes and sophistication grew they naturally gravitated to America's original performed and recorded music: jazz.   Recognizing a deep need to see the American tradition of JAZZ MUSIC continue and evolve, Cellar Cat seeks out dedicated, focused, musicians who can't help but just.  play.  jazz.  The Cats look for musicians of the highest talent to perform in their Listening club (Sundays: speak during the performance at your own peril).  Jonas Myers follows the magnificent Dmitri Matheny (artist-in-residence 2025) as a resource, a collaborator, a jazz friend, mentor, and most of all: top-drawer performer.

Trevor Pelletier is a Seattle-based bass player, bass builder, math teacher, and visual artist. He is known for his energetic, exploratory style of jazz improvisation.

Robert Rushing is a sought-after jazz drummer in the Pacific Northwest known for his hard-swinging style and decades of work across the full spectrum of American music. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Robert has built his career across the country — in clubs, theaters, resorts, and recording studios. Over the years he has shared the bandstand with distinguished artists including Marian McPartland, Jessica Williams, Victor Goines, Dave Kikoski, and George Garzone.
