CLASS DESCRIPTION
Shake up your Father’s Day gift giving this year and join Anne Marie in creating a homemade gift for your dad, grandpa, dog dad, honorary dad, or truly anyone special in your life.

Using hand-stitched appliqué, Anne Marie will help you design, prepare and complete a fabric bookmark or coaster in whatever design you’d like!

With a wide range of colourful fabric, interfacing and the tools to transfer the design of your choice onto your fabric, make a one-of-a-kind meaningful gift this year.

Just imagine your or your child’s drawing come to life on fabric!

WHAT'S INCLUDED
Everything you’ll need!
1. Huge variety of fabric scraps
2. Printed templates to trace onto fabric (bird, fish, coffee mug, letters etc.)
3. Fabric markers to draw your own design if you want
4. Sewing machine, needles and thread to use

WHAT TO BRING

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Anne Marie is a self taught sewist who loves to look at something and say “I could make that”. Quilts, dog jackets, tea towels, jeans, dresses, baby doll bassinets and even bathing suits are some of the many challenges Anne Marie has taken on in her sewing journey.

One of Anne Marie’s favourite parts of sewing is the ability to excitedly say “I made it” in response to a compliment. Her teaching style is attentive, kind and full of humour. She loves watching others realize their potential and find joy in crafting.
