The event will feature addresses from community members and political representatives.

Boats and paddle craft are welcome to assemble respectfully offshore, with a beach gathering for those attending by land.

This is a community-led event hosted by Neighbours of Fish Farming, bringing together locals who care about the Huon River and D’Entrecasteaux Channel, as well as supporters from afar who are against salmon farming decimating our waterways!

Bring your boat, bring your family, or simply bring a chair for the sand. Banners and signs encouraged.

Note that parking is limited, please make every effort to carpool where possible!

Please be respectful of the Eggs and Bacon Bay community when making your way to, and parking at this event. Do not park over any driveway, and drive slowly for wildlife and little ones.

Neighbours of Fish Farming acknowledge that we are gathering on the traditional lands on the Melukerdee people, and pay our deepest respects to Melukerdee people and elders, as well as the past, present and future Palawa/Pakana elders and community members who hold culture strong in Lutruwita.
