We are setting off our "Almost Canada Day" fireworks a day early this year!

With Canada Day falling on a Wednesday, we’ve made the decision to hold the big display on Tuesday night, June 30th. This lets us have a massive celebration without keeping the neighborhood up late right before a regular work and school day.

? A Quick Note on the Date: For those wondering if we could slide the show to the weekend instead, local city bylaws strictly restrict the use of consumer fireworks to Canada Day and the day immediately preceding it (June 30th). Tuesday night is our absolute best window to maximize the fun while minimizing the disruption to everyone's weekly schedules!

As always, this is a completely free, grassroots community event put on for anyone and everyone who wants to attend.

Where: Bayridge Highschool Trackfield

When: Tuesday, June 30th

Time: Fireworks kick off no earlier then 9:00 PM (or once dusk settles and the sky is dark enough).

Perks: My family will be passing out free glow sticks for the kids while supplies last!

While the event is entirely free, pulling off a display like this takes a village. We happily accept community donations of money, fireworks, giveaways, or simple old-fashioned muscle.

To Volunteer: I am always looking for help with daytime setup, the evening launch, and clearing the field afterward. If you want to join the crew, please reach out to me (Jake Lawrence) before the event.
