Basketry: Willow Backpack Workshop
Join us for a transformative 3-day Basketry: Willow Backpack Workshop, led by the skilled facilitator Johnny Suderman. Immerse yourself in the art of basketry, crafting your own Willow backpack amid the serene ambiance of Wind Whistle Farm in Mulmur, Ontario.
Indulge in a holistic experience with meals provided, complemented by rejuvenating sessions in the sauna, hot tub, and campfire gatherings. The workshop, from September 6-8, 2024, promises not only a hands-on weaving adventure but also a camping experience on a beautiful permaculture farm.
Johnny Suderman, our experienced guide, carefully grew the Willow used in this workshop. Delve into the craft under the guidance of someone with years of expertise in basketry. Please note, the workshop involves three days of labor, so consider your physical capabilities.
Secure your spot with a sliding scale admission of $660-760 with the link in our bio, with an additional $60-80 in cash to cover the cost of the specially cultivated Willow, payable to Johnny at the event. Bring your own camping gear for a comfortable stay in this picturesque setting.
Limited slots available, so mark your calendar for the registration opening soon. Don't miss this chance to weave memories and a unique Willow backpack at Wind Whistle Farm.
