Richmond Park is one of London’s most atmospheric locations for photographing red and fallow deer during the autumn rut. As a National Nature Reserve and historic deer park, it offers open grassland, ancient trees, bracken, woodland edges and sweeping parkland views that create a distinctive setting for wildlife photography.During the rutting season, the atmosphere changes dramatically. Stags become more active, bellow across the parkland, gather hinds and display their strength. This creates powerful wildlife photography opportunities, from environmental portraits in soft morning light to action images of posturing, movement and behaviour.The aim of the day is to help photographers work safely and respectfully around wild deer while learning how to capture behaviour, atmosphere, composition and light. We will focus on patience, fieldcraft, camera settings and building strong images without disturbing the animals.TICKETS ARE NORMALLY £75PP.
