# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Tankus in-store at Banquet Records
- **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 04 Nov, 2025 at 06:00 pm
- **Event Description**: To celebrate the release of ''Valley Of Distraction', TANKUS visits Kingston to play an in-store set.

For over a decade, genre-bending band, Tankus have roared through Europe's underground music scene, playing anywhere and everywhere, selling out shows, storming festival stages - including multiple appearances at Glastonbury - and building a devoted cult following, all without label, management or the industry machine.

Known for their explosively energetic live shows, Tankus turn every gig into a feverish celebration - part street party, part theatre, part rock' n' roll revival - where the audience becomes as much a part of the performance as the band themselves.

Now, the band step into a bold new chapter, signing to UK indie label 5dB Records and announcing their forthcoming album 'Valley of Distraction' (out 31st October 2025), produced by none other than Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Grinderman).

Sclavunos says: "Working with Tankus was an absolute pleasure, especially recording the entire band live in the studio. The level of musicianship in the band is phenomenal, each individual member is a bonafide character in his own right, and collectively they make an awesome sound. Jaz is a superb frontman and imaginative songwriter. Tankus is the complete package!"
