Patrick has provided adult safeguarding training and consultancy to local authorities, Safeguarding Adults Boards and Integrated Care Boards, health trusts and private and voluntary sector organisations across England.Patrick has worked as a manager and as a commissioner in health and social care services. He has commissioned and provided services for adults with learning disabilities and with mental health needs.Patrick has been the head of occupational therapy services, a community learning disabilities health team, initial contact services and adult safeguarding.Patrick is an associate of Partners in Care and Health, the Local Government Association and the Social Care Institute for Excellence. Patrick is a member of the UK Hoarding Partnership and the UK Hoarding Research Network.
