HISP & Made Smarter: Funded Support for Manufacturing Hull / EastYorkshire

The opportunity to hear more……HEY Made Smarter are working with the Humber Innovation Support Program (HISP) team at University of Hull to organise an informal workshop to explain and promote the new funding programme which enable Hull & East Yorkshire based manufacturing business to access support in adopting new innovative a process and technologies.

The project is there to assist – using the full range of the university expertise and resources to support local business’s owners and their team to address and implement new processes as well as assisting in overcoming technical barriers. The support package offers the business technical support – with a small element of capital support.

"The Humber Innovation Support Program (HISP) presents eligible Hull-based businesses with an opportunity for a free of charge and no-obligation consultation to match University of Hull expertise and equipment with your innovation challenges. The package of support would start with a free consultation – where the business would receive a fully costed proposal to address your specific needs, against which eligible businesses will receive up to 50% match funding from UKSPF. This opportunity has been open to smaller number of manufacturing businesses in the East Yorkshire area.

The University of Hull team will handle the claim on your behalf, meaning you will only have to pay the agreed discounted price for your personalised research, development, or innovation project.

Project currently being explored as feasibility studies / solutions

• development & design of new products
• test of equipment or product against heat changes
• including digital passporting senses into panelling
• test of alterative raw materials
• accreditation testing.

This event is aimed at attracting directors or senior staff from manufacturing business in the Hull City Council area. Offering delegates free advice and information sharing – on a one-to-one business specific session of 30mins. The event is limited to only 3 places to ensure business can enjoy quality time with the support agencies……so please book as soon as possible. Places are offered on first to register.

We ask that non-manufacturing businesses contact us separately for support. This is not a networking event.
