This unique archaeological site, located along the scenic Harpeth River, features 12 earthen mounds constructed by Native peoples during the Mississippian period. TennGreen helped acquire the gateway to Mound Bottom, securing trail access in and out of the property.
Join this ranger-led program to view the ancient mounds and learn the history of one of Middle Tennessee's most unique historical sites.
This activity includes a moderate, 2.5-mile hike to access the property. Please bring water and wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes.
Hikers will meet at the Highway 70 Canoe Access before carpooling to the trailhead.
This event is FREE for and $10 for non-members.
