After taking a short introductory class at a Woodcraft store, she decided to delve deeper into the art by taking a 6-week course at Pratt School of Fine Arts in Seattle, WA. Over the last 4 years since then, she has dabbled in making all kinds of things including bowls, boxes, pens, and hollow forms. She hopes to branch out further into other types of turning, and is always excited to show others what is possible on the lathe.
