Keep Kingsport Beautiful will hold its “Green & Growing” gardening seminars every Thursday in March at the Kingsport Chamber.
On March 5, the program will feature Christy Shivell, owner of Shy Valley Farms, whose presentation is titled: “Rewilding Appalachia: Simple, sustainable techniques to create habitat-rich landscapes with native plants.”
On March 12, the program will feature Matt Fioramonti, a manager at Evergreen in Colonial Heights, whose program is titled: “The Spring Bloomer.”
On March 19, the program will feature Joy Moore, a master gardener whose program is titled: “Welcoming Pollinators to Your Yard.”
And on March 26, the program will feature John Woodworth, local organic farmer and owner of Ziegenwald Dairy, whose program is titled: “Seed Saving 101.”
All seminars start at noon and are free to attend.
