💙 YOU MATTER DAY RETURNS TO KINGSBURG 💙
You Matter Day is returning on May 9, and Kingsburg Elementary Charter School District is excited to invite our entire community to be part of something powerful. Every year, our small Swedish town comes together to assemble care kits that reach people across California and even around the world. Last year, our community created more than 10,000 kits, spreading hope to disaster survivors, foster youth, cancer patients, military personnel, and so many others.
This day is about showing our kids what true community looks like. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and neighbors come together with one goal: to give back. When our children see the adults in their lives serving with kindness, they learn what it means to care for others and to be part of something bigger than themselves.
To make this year’s event even more meaningful, we need help in three important areas:
👉BOOTH HOSTS
If you have an idea you want to bring to life or want to lead a booth from our list of projects, we would love to have you. From hygiene kits to comfort bags, from writing cards to creating supplies for shelters, every booth helps meet a real need.
🤝Sponsors
If you are unable to volunteer but want to support the work, sponsorships help purchase kit materials and expand our impact. Any level of support makes a difference.
🫶Volunteers
We need helping hands for staging, setup, event flow, and cleanup. Whether you can give an hour or the full day, your time matters.
And if you are not able to participate, simply sharing the event helps more people get involved.
