You will silently and slowly walk through the bushland of Kings Park, and enjoy a guided meditation under a beautiful peppermint tree. The walk includes some individual time getting up close and personal with elements of the ecosystem. You will have time to reflect together on our relationship with the natural environment. Come away feeling calm and ready for the day ahead.Testimonials: When you slow down, nature meets you half way. I know that but I forgot it.After the walk I felt so much more connected with nature and with myself.It was a terrific experience. I am going to schedule intentional time by myself in nature.Date & Start Time: Tuesday, 27 October 9:30 amPlease arrive at least 15 minutes early plus allow time for parking.Meeting Location: Roe Gardens carpark, Forrest Dr, Kings ParkPublic transport: Free buses come into the park from the city (the Blue Cat and bus 935).ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Duration: Up to 1.5 hrs.Distance: Approximately 1.5 km.Difficulty: Easy degree of difficulty.Accessibility: This walk is NOT suitable for wheelchairs, prams or mobility aids.What to wear and bring: Portable chair (or towel or yoga mat), water bottle, comfortable enclosed walking shoes. Insect repellent is recommended.Bring sunscreen, hat and a raincoat (weather dependent).Weather: This walk will go ahead if it is raining but in the event of severe weather or fire risk it may be cancelled. Check the notices section of the Kings Park website for cancellation information.CANCELLATION: Our walks are popular and ticket numbers are limited to give walkers the best experience possible. We ask that you cancel if you are no longer able to attend so that we can offer a place to those on the waitlist. Cancellation is easy, just go to your eticket and click on ‘Cancel’. Please note, our tickets are not refundable unless the walk is cancelled by Kings Park Guides.
