- **Event Description**: King’s Lynn Christmas lights switch-on takes place on Sunday 23 November. There will be family activities in town during the day, entertainment on stage in the afternoon and the lights will be turned on at 5pm.

Discover King’s Lynn start the festive fun with Children’s lantern making inside 114 High Street, next to The Deck of Cards, from 2pm – 4pm. There will be street entertainment around town and the Vancouver Quarter from 2pm, including music from East Angles Brass Band and the dazzling Glitter Belles, bringing sparkle and sound to the streets.

At 2pm there’s live music on the borough council stage in the Tuesday Market Place. Popular classic children's songs will be covered by Sarah Mai, St Martha’s School Choir will perform Christmas Carols, followed by music from headliners Vex.

A lantern parade will meander through town from 4:20pm led by East Angles Brass Band. It will start from the Deck of Cards and wind through town to arrive at the Tuesday Market Place just in time for the big moment.
At 5pm, the Deputy Mayor of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Cllr Steve Bearshaw, will officially switch on the Christmas lights, followed by more festive music from Vex.
