Film Screening - Vermiglio

Vermiglio is an Italian drama film set in 1944. Vermiglio is a remote mountain village whose inhabitants have been continuing to live in the same way for centuries, affected little by the war raging across Europe. However the arrival of Pietro, a deserter, into the family of the local teacher, and his love for the teacher's eldest daughter, will change the course of everyone's life. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 93% of 58 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 8.1/10 Subtitled, Cert 15, Directed by Maura Delpero, Italy, 2024, 119 mins long
The film will be screened in the fully accessible Screen 2. All over 18's welcome. Free to KLCCC members or visitors welcome for £6 cash on the door.
