About this Event

M2 - Understanding Drivers’ Hours and Tachographs:

This module aims to remind, revise as well as provide an insight into the rules regarding Drivers’ Hours, the European Union (EU) and Great Britain (GB). This module additionally provides general guidance concerning drivers and tachograph rules for goods vehicles, how tachographs record information about driving time, speed and distance and how they are used to ensure drivers and employers follow the rules on drivers’ hours.

M9 - Work Related Road Risk:

The aim of this module is to promote and raise driver awareness in order to make the risk of a vulnerable road user being injured or killed as low as possible. This module refers to Health and Safety law applying to work activities on the road in the same way as it does to all work activities and you need to manage the risks to drivers as part of your Company Health and Safety Arrangements. An interactive case study that covers use of mirrors and field of vision, indicating intentions early, checking the blind spots and giving plenty of room to vulnerable road users.

The Safe, Green & Efficient CPC courses are full day courses made up of 2 CPC modules covering 'hot topics' within the transport industry.

Each full day Safe, Green & Efficient course contributes 7 hours towards CPC. Each Safe, Green & Efficient course is approved by JAUPT.
