- **Event Description**: Join us to learn about processing poultry and especially Cornish Cross meat birds. This is a hands-on workshop where each participant will learn about the basic care of Cornish Cross meatbirds and will process a Cornish Cross meat bird. All participants will receive their processed Cornish Cross meat bird ready for the refrigerator or freezer. Catered box lunch and drinks will be provided.

Dress appropriately for a working farm, weather conditions and the processing of chickens (blood, feathers, etc). Dress comfortably but not in your best clothing or shoes. 

Event is limited to 4 people and the cost is $30 per person. Payment is required by April 11 to secure your registration. Venmo and CashApp accepted. 

Any proceeds generated will support the winter care and wellbeing of the animals.
