About the event

Sugarloaf Inferno XC Ski Race

Nordic skiers unite and bring their best during the Sugarloaf annual XC Inferno Race. This grassroots, fun cross-country race embodies an alpine and XC component giving participants a challenging yet fun course. Costumes encouraged! Ages 10+ and suitable for advanced skiers on nordic skis, spectating highly encouraged.

Registration from 9am-10am at the Outdoor Center
Shuttle ride to mountain at 10am
10:30am load on Whiffletree lift
Race start time is 11am

Route (subject to change): Racers will start at bottom of King Pine lift (bottom of Tohaul), head down Cross Haul to Stubs Glade, then Inferno trail to Old Race trail, 7 Bridges and ending in the Outdoor Center stadium.
