We hope you can join us at the 15th Carrabassett Backcountry Cycle Challenge, hosted by the Town of Carrabassett Valley, on July 18, 2026. The CBCC is a mountain bike endurance event offering 100k, 50k, and 25k courses, which cover a great mix of terrain in Carrabassett Valley and the surrounding area. The 100k race will be part of the National Ultra Endurance Mountain Bike Race Series again this year. Kid's races, hosted by the Western Maine Center for Children, for riders ages 12 and under will also be offered.
Plan to sign up early to secure your spot. The 2026 CBCC will be capped at 600 total racers.
Participation in this race will support Carrabassett Region NEMBA trail maintenance and development, youth bike camps, and the Town of Carrabassett Valley mountain bike race fund for future events. This race is completely run by volunteers and is the largest yearly fundraiser for the local trail network!
