We will be honoring the Gen. Henry Knox Noble Train of Artillery, which entered the Kinderhook District on January 4th, 1776 and passed through Ghent and Hillsdale before emerging into Massachusetts on Jan. 10th, 1776. This commemorative event will be an opportunity to speak with local historians about the Revolutionary War and will also highlight related events on Jan. 9th in Kinderhook and Jan. 10th Hillsdale. There will be a reading from the upcoming CC 250 book that many of us contributed to, Revolutionary War trivia, and light refreshments.
