Somatic Stillness is a gently guided session designed to support integration, rest, and a steady return to balance.

This is not a class where you are asked to push or achieve anything. Instead, the focus is on allowing the body to settle in its own way, at its own pace, with quiet guidance and support.

The session will begin with gentle integration, helping the nervous system to settle and catch up. From there, we move into a period of supported stillness and rest, with soft background music and calm verbal anchors throughout. 

The session will then gradually guide you back out of rest, helping you reorient and leave feeling steady and grounded.

What to expect:

A calm, guided experience focused on integration and rest.

Gentle verbal guidance with space for quiet and stillness.

Background music to support a sense of safety and containment.

Choice to sit, recline, or lie down using mats, anti-gravity chairs, or seating.

A steady, unhurried return to balance at the end.

This session is suitable for those living with fatigue, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, ME, mobility limitations, or nervous system sensitivity. You are encouraged to listen to your body and adapt your position or level of participation at any time.

There is no expectation to remain still, to follow instructions perfectly, or to “relax” in a particular way. The body is trusted to do what it needs to do when given the right conditions.
