- **Event Description**: Alvaro Ibañez invites aspiring painters of all ages to help touch up murals and 3D sculptures at Surreal Arizona Gallery this Sunday, September 28, after 2 p.m. Located at 199 Whittaker Lane, the gallery is one of three buildings on 44 acres of wooded land known as A-Ibañez Museum. “Bring your brushes and paints or work on your own project.” Ibañez also encourages people to walk around the “Promised Land’s” labyrinth of trails. “Enjoy the fields full of wildflowers in full bloom.” 
This Sunday, the Kilmarnock artist will unveil a new collection of paintings. “Art sales sustain the operation of this community project. Our goal is to support and mentor creative people.” Ibañez said, “We don’t live from art, we live for it.”
Admission is free. A-Ibañez Museum also welcomes visitors by appointment. Call 804-577-0969.
