We are offering a free to access event as part of Festival Fortnight - encouraging the Queer community to access sports and activities they have never tried, or want to have a taste of. If you are new to indoors climbing we offer an introduction to climbing session lead by one of the staff at Ayrshire Climbing Centre, if you have some experience then join us for a free climb supervised by members of our group. It will be all about fun and social inclusion. You can boulder (low wall, no ropes required) which is all about strategy; top rope (where you are wearing a harness and secured to another experienced climber who can hold you in place or slowly lowers you) where you aim to climb as high as possible, using the most sensible route; or autobelays where your harness is attached to an automatic pulley system which slowly lowers you to the ground.
