The Fox US Open of Mountain Biking returns again to Killington Resort on September 25-28. Professional and amateur athletes from around the world will compete in the Open Class Downhill for one of the largest cash purses in racing. As always, the Fox US Open also offers amateur racing classes in Downhill and Dual Slalom, plus the annual Adaptive Downhill race and the invite-only Best Whip competition.
The US Open Downhill race will remain true to its heritage as an open class event that gives up-and-coming racers the chance to compete against the pros and will again be included in the US Downhill National Series. Racers age 14 & under will also have their shot in the Next Gen Youth Downhill event, which offers categories for intermediate and expert racers.
Returning again this year will be the crowd-favorite Best Whip competition, bringing out the best high-flyers to throw down on the massive jump line carved into our Ramshead base area. This prestigious invitational event promises big-air action and is must-see Saturday night entertainment.
Spectating is FREE, and approved areas of the Bike Park are open to the public during the event (access up the Ramshead chairlift for spectators will be available for purchase from inside the Ramshead Lodge). Join the party and experience epic competition, spectating, and riding with friends!

PARKING
Day Parking @ K-1, Snowshed and Upper Snowshed lots (day use only)
Camping @ Vale Rd. (tent & van), Ramshead (paid RV), and Upper Snowshed (RV)
- Please pay attention to signage.
- No bonfires or fire pits allowed in the Ramshead parking lot.
- Bathrooms will be available inside the Ramshead Base Lodge throughout the event. Porta-potties also will be available in the Ramshead and Vale parking lots.
VOLUNTEERING
Volunteer course marshal, parking attendant, & timing assistant positions will be available for all four days of the competition, from September 25-28. Volunteers will be provided lunch as well as a FREE Killington lift ticket voucher, valid for a calendar year, for each completed shift. Fox US Open staff will also provide volunteers with discount codes for Fox Racing, Thule, and 5DEV, as well as a Pro Downhill Series t-shirt.
ATTENDING THE US OPEN
- All lifts (Snowshed, Ramshead, and K-1) will operate on their usual operating schedules for public access—only participants will have access to early lift times. Please note that lift line wait times will be affected during peak event hours.
- Any drone photography/videography is prohibited.
- Pets will be allowed inside the venue, but they must remain on a leash at all times while on resort property.
- Outside alcohol will NOT be allowed inside the event venue at Ramshead. Anyone inside the venue that is seen with alcohol not purchased on-site will be asked to leave the event.
- Outside alcohol is also strictly prohibited in any of our base lodges (Ramshead, Snowshed, and K-1).
- There will be a bag check upon entering the venue near the Ramshead Base Lodge. Prohibited items include drones, weapons, drugs, & outside alcohol.
- Please note that Killington is a cashless resort—the bar & outdoor grill inside the venue will only accept credit/debit cards & mobile pay.

Featuring a unique Open Pro/Am format, the Fox US Open offers the most challenging competition in the nation, setting the standard as a proving ground for up-and-coming and elite athletes alike.
