- Learn about Project Seagrass

- Help build a giant Chough or craft your own local wildlife 

- Watch Rachel Shiamh create some amazing sand art

The Museum of Land Speed is located just metres from the famous Pendine Sands and part of the Carmarthen Bay and Estuaries Special Area of Conservation (SAC), the Carmarthen Bay Dunes Special Area of Conservation, Laugharne and Pendine Burrows Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a small area of the Taff Estuary Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI). Endangered species that can be found in the area include otters, water voles, manx shearwaters and golden plovers.

Spend the day finding out about some of the unique habitats that surround the Museum and the special variety of wildlife they attract, discover the dangers they face from the climate crisis and what you can do to preserve them for the future. This event is funded by the Art Fund in collaboration with The Herds.
