The Leap Collective
Leixlip Entertainment and Arts Platform
The Leap Collective, formally known as the Leixlip Entertainment and Arts Platform, is a newly established community arts initiative created by a small group of local musicians who believe that original live performance has an important place in Leixlip’s cultural life.
While formally established only recently, members of the Collective have already been active in shaping the town’s creative scene. The group has been involved in hosting the monthly Blue Room Sessions in Leixlip GAA and running a sold-out Culture Night event at St. Mary’s Church in 2025, which they will return to in 2026. The Tiny Concerts series represents a natural extension of that work and a more focused step towards building a sustainable platform for original performance.
The Collective was formed to promote and showcase original creative work. Its initial focus is on music, but its long-term vision is to broaden the platform to include poetry, spoken word, readings and other forms of original performance art as the group grows.
At the centre of this new chapter is the Tiny Concerts format: intimate, carefully curated performances in small venues that prioritise original material, atmosphere and genuine connection between artist and audience.
The Leap Collective is taking practical steps to build something lasting. In partnership with local café Willow and Wild, which is enthusiastically hosting this series, the Tiny Concerts mark the beginning of a broader cultural vision, with further events and creative initiatives already in development.
