Using a mix of documentary footage and recreation, it focuses in particular on the history of her dream house on the Riviera - E.1027. Initially built for Gray and her lover Jean Badovici in the late 1920s, the house goes through dramatic changes over the years - including when Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier becomes fascinated with Gray’s creation. Obsessed with the building, Le Corbusier takes dramatic steps to claim E.1027 as his own.

Directors Beatrice Minger and Christoph Schaub thoughtfully reflect on Gray’s work and legacy - a life of incredible achievements, but also one where men sought to take credit for many of her accomplishments.
