- **Event Description**: Aloha everyone, we are planning a special paddle out to honor Wayne “Vene” Chun on Sunday, November 9th at 9 a.m. at Kalepolepo Fish Pond.

This will be a large gathering, with many outrigger canoes paddling in from Maui Canoe Club, Kihei Canoe Club, Mana’olana (pink paddlers), and Wailea Canoe Club.

The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. on the beach with a blessing in the fish pond before the paddle out commences.

Please note that parking in the area is very limited, so plan accordingly, especially if you intend to paddle out on a SUP or surfboard.

We kindly encourage everyone to bring flower petals to cast onto the water during the paddle out.

Join us afterward to continue sharing the aloha at Nalu's South Shore Grill in Kihei.
