Big Green Picnic!

Here at the Princess Gwenllian Centre. A celebration of all things green, local, and sustainable —We're hosting this in partnership with The Co-op and Social Farms & Gardens and the Eden Project.

Traditional Fete Games
Storytelling with Liz Evans 
Sunday dinner basket raffle 
Scarecrow Competition sponsored by the COOP
UN World Food Safety Day focus
Potluck Dinner to close the day


This special event is part of several exciting nationwide initiatives happening on the same day:
•	The Eden Project's Big Lunch – bringing communities together to share food and friendship.
•	Have a Grow Week – a UK-wide celebration of community growing.
•	UN Food Safety Day – raising awareness about food 


We’re bringing it all together here at the Princess Gwenllian Centre with a day full of eco-friendly activities, garden fun, local food, and a warm picnic atmosphere for all ages. 

We are reaching out to our community here in Kidwelly and Carmarthen
This is a completely free weekend event with a bring you own picnic lunch, from the COOP workshops and talks, a scarecrow competition and much much more.
