BELLYDANCE WORKSHOPS WITH KATIE ALYCE
SATURDAY 22ND NOVEMBER 2025 

 Katie is an internationally recognised performer, choreographer, and teacher. She's graced the royal families of Qatar and Bahrain and danced for A-list clients such as Sienna Miller, Salma Hayek, and Kano. Catch her on hit shows like the BBC’s ‘SAS Rogue Heroes,' 'Complaints Welcome,' Channel 4, and 'A League of Their Own’, Sky 1. Beyond the screen, Katie imparts her expertise through London courses, UK-wide workshops, and international workshops and retreats! 
 
*Date:  SATURDAY 22ND NOVEMBER 2025 
* Time: 11.30- 4.30pm (doors open 10.30am). Each workshop 2 hours 
*Venue  Kidlington Football Club, Yarnton Road, Kidlington, Oxon, OX5 1AT  


* Workshop 1: ‘DYNAMIC ORIENTAL COMBINATIONS’ – LET YOUR TECHNIQUE SHINE (2 hours) OPEN LEVEL

In the workshop, Katie will guide you through various combinations to showcase your best dancing yet. The focus will be on technique, with drills to enhance your control and strong execution, as well as creativity, expression and transitions that flow. These moves can then be put together into a mini choreography. 

* Workshop 2: ‘ ELEGANT ARMS AND HANDS’ - ‘POSES, POISE AND POSTURE’ (2 hours) OPEN LEVEL

In this workshop, Katie will help you create beautiful arms and elegant poses. This will help you deliver strong and expressive arm movements that add grace and confidence to each of your performances. You will learn clean technique, elegant arm pathways and powerful poses- as well a sumptuous mini combination to put it all together.

Workshop Package options: 

 (A) FULL DAY AND EVENING TICKET-  BOTH WORKSHOPS TO INCLUDE LUNCH/REFRESHMENTS PLUS ADMISSION TO CASBAH CAFÉ WITH EVENING BUFFET AND PRIORITY PERFORMANCE SLOT 
BOOK BY 9TH NOVEMBER 2025 and get the EARLYBIRD PRICE OF ONLY £65!! (After 9th NOVEMBER 2025 £70) 

(B) DAYTIME ONLY TICKET- BOTH WORKSHOPS TO INCLUDE LUNCH/REFRESHMENTS

( C ) SINGLE WORKSHOP - £40 - (if choosing this option please specify which workshop)

(D) CASBAH CAFÉ HAFLA ONLY TICKET (TO INCLUDE BUFFET AND CHANCE TO PERFORM) £15

SADLY TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE TO ANOTHER EVENT BUT MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER PERSON BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT, SHOULD YOU NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE IT FOR ANY REASON. 

Schedule: 
10.30-doors open – chance to have a coffee or tea (included in ticket price) and a catch up 
11.30- 1.30 - WORKSHOP 1 
1.30- 2.30– Lunch break- buffet lunch provided and included in ticket price. Chance also to browse the bazaar and catch up with belly-dance friends
2.30- 4.30 - WORKSHOP 2 
4.30- 6.15- Tea/coffee and biscuit refreshments (available 4.30- 5.00ish) and chance to browse the full bazaar. Chance to sit, relax and get made up and changed whilst the room is transformed ready for Casbah Café
6.30- Doors re-open for evening event CASBAH CAFE
7.15pm First performance (the time may vary depending on the number of acts)

* AMPLE FREE PARKING at the venue and regular buses from Oxford to Kidlington and bus stop nearby. Also Oxford Parkway train station nearby (maps and directions upon request)
