35mm has its long cherished goal to spread their film philosophy among the youth much more prosperous across the globe. To fulfil this goal, for the first time the club is going to organize “Khulna University Independent Film Festival (KUIFF)” in Khulna University premises on 27 to 29 March of 2020.
This festival invites film makers from Bangladesh and across the globe to submit their Short Films and spread their philosophy of creative independence.

Subject: “Embracing Creactivity through Independence”

KUIFF 20’ focuses on the creative independence of cinema round the globe. For that, we have selected the theme of free-will of innovation in cinema this year. There is no specific genre to limit your space in KUIFF, if it is creative... We will accept it.

1st Runner-up: 150 US Dollar
2nd Runner-up: 100 US Dollar

Top 40 Short Films will receive recognition from Khulna University.
Each entry will get online certification from Khulna University.

35mm-the KU movie club proudly is the only independent film appreciation movement of Khulna University, the first non-political public university of Bangladesh. On the 12th September of 2006, the organization has started its journey with a view to develop human perspective through the philosophy of movies and to create a cultural consciousness around the campus.
We strive to develop the sensibility and morality of people in general through movies without any barriers of language, culture and ethnicity and deals to upgrade the movie taste of the social masses.
