OP SOEK NA KOOS DOEP - the music of Koos du Plessis and others, by Andries Bezuidenhout
Join us for an evening of Afrikaans music with substance and attitude by singer-songwriter Andries Bezuidenhout.
Last year, Andries released an album with cover songs and poems put to music by his father-in-law Koos du Plessis, a legendary musician who died in 1982, but whose music continues to inspire new generations of music lovers. Andries will perform some of these songs and combine them with his own songs (old ones, from a forthcoming album, and songs composed for his band, the Brixton Moord & Roof Orkes), as well songs by as Koos Kombuis, Johannes Kerkorrel, and David Kramer.
This will be the only live performance of music from this album.
