Lilly Pulitzer event on Feb 17 to benefit A Positive Step of Monroe County
On Friday, Feb. 27, from 10:00am to 6:00pm, the Lilly Pulitzer shop at 600 Front Street in Key West will donate 10% of all sales to A Positive Step of Monroe County to help fund the “Idle Hands Summer Youth Employment Program,” a vital initiative run in partnership with the City of Key West.
Each year, the City provides meaningful work opportunities for young people enrolled in the APSMC “Idle Hands Summer Youth Employment Program” along with $35,000.00 toward the program’s approximately $100,000 annual budget. APSMC must raise the remainder to cover student payroll, program overhead, job coaching and training/orientation expenses – making community support essential to keep this program thriving.
So mark the date and cruise over to Lilly Pulitzer on Feb. 27 to celebrate spring in Paradise with vibrant new styles, while supporting an outstanding program that empowers our island community’s youth. To add to the festivities, shoppers can enjoy a donation-based cocktail bar.
