Did you know there are only seven species of sea turtles found around the world? They are each unique in their body features, diets, and where they live. Unfortunately, all seven species are considered threatened, as sea turtles are particularly vulnerable to human activities and environmental factors. Because of this, only one in every thousand sea turtle eggs live to become an adult! Luckily, there are things we can do to help protect our sea turtles.

Lesson includes: what is a sea turtle, life cycle of a sea turtle, species identification, threats to sea turtles, how we can help them.
