# Event Details - **Event Name**: RIVA Key Largo Excursion - **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 10 Jul, 2026 at 08:00 am – Sun, 12 Jul, 2026 at 01:30 pm - **Event Description**: 9th Annual RIVA Key Largo Excursion Experience the Florida Keys the weekend of July 9th - 12th, We'll be riding the mangroves on Friday launching from John Pennekamp at 9am then Saturday we'll be taking the main ride visiting Alligator Reef on Saturday with a stop at Islamorada Sandbar! This ride will take us through the amazing Florida Keys and out to visit the beautiful and popular Alligator Reef where you can explore and do some snorkeling. Sunday we will have on land meet up at Robbies Dockside Restaurant for lunch and feed the famous Tarpon before many make the ride home. FRIDAY 10th - if you are in town we will have a smaller group ride though the awesome mangroves and stopping at a few great hidden gems with a lunch stop. SATURDAY 11th - we will ride over to Alligator Reef and spend roughly 1-2 hours there. We will then sound the airhorns and head over to Islamorada Sandbar where you can anchor, relax, eat and enjoy the tropical Florida vibes. There will be a food vendor at the sandbar but we do encourage you to also pack food, This will also be the time to fuel up if necessary. We will make our way back to our launch locations around 4:30pm. We encourage all riders to use their Phones, GPS and other tracking devices to drop a pin at their launch location. SUNDAY 12th - We will have on land meet up at Robbies Dockside Restaurant around 11am for lunch and feed the famous Tarpon before many make the ride home. WHAT TO BRING • Required safety equipment • Gas is optional. • Personal ID, Cash, Cards • Anchor(s) • Snorkeling gear: fins, goggles, etc. • Sunblock • Plenty of drinks to keep hydrated SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS • Listen for the Airhorns to identify launch times at each stop • After the Airhorn, you will have 10 mins to prepare for launch • Please follow the lead boat and skis and DO NOT pass them! • With many out-of-town riders, it's imperative we ride together its easy to get lost in the Keys and or ride in prohibited areas.
