Raw Figs: Summer Haven Series

Join us every Wednesday for the month of May at Gramps Getaway, a waterfront bar and restaurant in Key Biscayne, Florida, offering a casual, dive-bar atmosphere with stunning views of the water and Miami skyline. It's known for its delicious food and its selection of craft cocktails and beer. The bar also features live music, DJs, and other events,

The figure drawing session hosted by us, Raw Figs, with a minimally-clothed/costumed model. This session is self-guided and family-friendly.

We rely on your donations to keep Raw Figs continuing to happen for the community. We use donations to be able to purchase materials, pay the model, cover props and location costs, as well as paying our part-time employees. 

Our drawing session will begin promptly at 6:40pm and end at 8:20pm.

Gramps Getaway Schedule

May 7th 

• Regular figure drawing session.

May 14th

• Long-Pose session.    

May 21st

• Draw and Swap: Draw the pose for 2 mins and pass your drawing down to the next artist for a collaborative piece.

May 28th

• Regular session lead by local artist.

Materials are available for those that need on a first come, first serve basis, but we always encourage everyone to bring their own when possible.

• Oil pastels
• Markers
• Erasers
• Sharpeners
• Variety sized papers
• Variety sized chipboards

Long Pose session

• 2 x mins
• 2 x 30 mins

Regular session

• 2 x 2 mins
• 2 x 5 mins
• 2 x 10 mins
• 1 x 15 mins
• 1 x 20 mins
