- **Event Description**: **Festival of Samhain at Glen Innish Farm**
**Saturday, October 31**

As October draws to a close, the Glen begins its turn toward winter.

Join us at Glen Innish Farm for our Festival of Samhain—a day inspired by the old Celtic tradition marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the darker half of the year.

We’ll begin the morning at 8:00 with a special Samhain Yoga on the Glen led by Kerry Holmes of Moonstone Pathways. Costumes are absolutely welcome—the more fun, whimsical, or witchy, the better.

As the farm opens for the day, wander the Glen Path and experience our Samhain trail. Follow the path through the woods and along the creek as we share a little of the folklore and traditions of Samhain along the way.

This will also be your last chance to visit the Fairy Village before the fairies settle in for their long winter sleep.

The trail will lead you out to the lavender field, where a fire will be waiting—a warm place to gather on a crisp autumn day and mark the changing of the seasons.

Back at the farm, you can make a lavender broom or roll your own beeswax candle to take home. You can also head into the sunflower field and cut a sunflower head to hang outside as a winter feeder for the birds.

And because it is Halloween, we hope you’ll come dressed for the occasion.

Wear a costume into the farm store and draw a pumpkin to reveal your surprise discount—anywhere from **9–20% off your purchase** that day. Some exclusions apply, including festival make-and-takes.

The Snug will be open with warm drinks and seasonal treats, along with special fall lavender fizzes made with Prosecco. Take your time, warm up, wander the farm, and enjoy one of the last celebrations of autumn on the Glen.

Samhain has long been a time to gather, celebrate the harvest, remember what has passed, and welcome the season ahead.

You don’t need to know anything about Celtic traditions to join us. Come for the trail. Come for the fire. Come dressed in costume. Make something with your hands. Bring the kids. Bring a friend.

Come spend Samhain on the Glen.
