Practical Skills Course for Trust Grade Doctors

External candidates who wish to attend are required to pay a £200 fee to secure their place.

Course Content

• Ultrasound Guided Central Line Placement
• Chest Drain Insertion
• Tracheostomy Management
• Non Invasive Ventilation
• Nasogastric Tube Placement
• Lumbar Puncture
• Cardio Version & Pacing
• Ascitic Drain

This course will provide an introduction to procedural skills training which will demonstrate competency to the minimum required level for ARCP at CT 1 (RCP 2015).

The course is run by experienced Faculty in small groups with hands on practical skills training and constructive feedback in a controlled environment.
