Thurs 12th Feb Adrian David Brown almost 60, is the Lyric Lounge Kettering 's headlining our open mic with Kezzabelle - Poet hosting hope you can join us at The Cordwainer - Kettering 7-10pm
Adrian been doing this writing malarkey for 12 years in that time he's written & published one novella 'Sorry Was Never Enough', written novels 'Chasing Ghosts The Mile' & 'Pea Soup'. He's also written a screen play '2084 Worse Than Fiction' & a childrens picture book 'Alex The Purple Mouse'.
Adrian's poetry began with 'Not The Best Of Days' which he didn't think was good enough to read in public until he received recognition after a reading at Kezzabelle Ambler Weaving Words workshop at Kettering Library in 2016
For a boy who could'nt read until he was 12 & to this day can't spell or punctuate for toffee that's not bad going.
Adrian's headline set is going to look at some of the hundred plus poems he's written, some will make you laugh, others will make you cry, they will all show everyone has a story to tell.
