Your host, Robert Mark Kamen, has enjoyed a dynamic and active 45-year career in Hollywood, and is best known for his films, including Taps, The Karate Kid, The Professional, the Taken series, and many more. Through an accidental twist of fate, Kamen’s writing career led him to his true passion: producing world-class wines in the formidable Moon Mountain District of Sonoma. Since 1980, he has been dedicated to organic farming practices, and through the craftsmanship of winemaker Mark Herold, he has perfected his bottled screenplay — Kamen Estate Wines.

Experience an unforgettable evening featuring these limited-production wines and the culinary delights of Chef Jorge de la Torre, Culinary Director of the Sun Valley Culinary Institute — all while being regaled by Kamen with stories of movies, wine, and the journey of his accidental success.

Held over Labor Day weekend, this event also coincides with Sun Valley’s Wagon Days celebration, offering guests the perfect blend of fine wine, gourmet food, and local tradition.
