Spaces are limited to keep the group small, and allow which will allow plenty of opportunity for participants to ask questions and get the information they need. There will be both classroom-based sections and swims in a nearby lake so that you get both the knowledge and the experience.  You must be able to swim already: this is not a swimming lesson.

This session is most suitable for first time wild swimmers who have no prior outdoor swimming experience, or very minimal outdoor experience. We recommend that you can swim breaststroke and are confident treading water in order to take part. We also welcome swimmers returning to open water after a break who want to refresh their skills. If you already train in a pool and swim distances above 1km please check with us before booking.

There will be a short walk (1 mile) down to the lake and you will need to carry everything you need for swimming.
