# Event Details - **Event Name**: The Ignite Peace Conference - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 15 May, 2027 at 10:00 am – Sat, 15 May, 2027 at 04:00 pm (-05:00) - **Event Description**: The Ignite Peace Christian Women’s Conference is an opportunity for women to come together for a day of faith, food and fun.About this EventThe Ignite Peace Christian Women's Conference is for women of all ages (13-113+) to take time for themselves and spend time with their friends, and possibly make new friends as well, while being refreshed in their spirits. The conference's mission is to ignite the peace that is in each of our lives from God's presence with us, and present within us.In Philippians 4:7 it says, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We want women to know that there is peace for the lives of those who know who they are because of God and who He is and what He has done. We have the assurance of His power and strength in our lives to face all that comes our way. We are able to do things that the world cannot understand because our God is with us, inside of us, empowering us to do the impossible, the miraculous, the earth shaking, heaven celebrating, God-glorifying things that He has for us to do all with a peace that only He can give. We rest in Him and allow Him to work in and through us to show others our relationship with Christ so that they can have one as well. The day will be filled with great speakers, bible study, fellowship, activities, worship and laughter (a lot of laughter). There will be a lunch served and snacks for the day. We will have water, coffee and tea to drink, but encourage you to bring whatever other drink you may desire. There will be a merchandise table at the event as well for those who like to shop. The Happy State Bank Expo Hall is air-conditioned and has plenty of parking and handicap accessible bathrooms and parking as well. Be sure to bring a light sweater or jacket, because you might get chilled.A love offering is taken at this event for future TW-Light Ministry events across the State of Texas for other women. We would like for you to prayerfully consider a gift if you are able to help others know that they are loved at conferences in the coming year. Working across denominational lines and even outside the church walls in communities, the TW-Light Ministries Team brings life and light to everyone. The ministry was created to help women realize that they have a purpose on this earth, at this time, in the place they are right now no matter their age. Women are the life-blood of the family, the community and in turn the world. Women tend to invest in others and forfeit caring for themselves.TW-Light Ministries works within a community with church and organizational leaders, who wish to invest in their people through ONE DAY conferences which are designed for a single day. Women, from the host community and the surrounding areas, can join together to make a difference in each other's lives while renewing their own. Follow-up materials and other studies are available long after the conference is over for further growth and support.Funded by private donations, TW-Light Ministries tries to keep costs low for events allowing all who wish to attend. The way to really make an impact is to leave a legacy of people whose lives are changed because of God's work through you in their lives. TW-Light Ministries and the team that comprises it, want that kind of impact. The mission of TW-Light Ministries is to glorify God and bring those that do not know him to knowing him. TW-Light Ministries is based on Matthew 5:14-16 \"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.\"Now is the time to invest in the lives of the women around you. Contact TW-Light Ministries via our website: www.tw-light.org or phone 830-257-6043 and allow the Ministry Team the opportunity to work with you to encourage the women you hold so dear in your community. We are ready to make a difference, are you?" } ] } ] ```
