- **Event Description**: For the past 30 years, Sheriff Leitha has been active in law enforcement serving in various positions with Medina County Sheriff’s Department, Devine Police Department, and Texas Department of Public Safety. Leitha has worked jointly with the U.S. Marshals and the FBI as Task Force Officer investigating highrisk fugitives and sex offenders, and violent criminal gang activity involving the Mexican Mafia, Texas Syndicate, Aryan Brotherhood, and MS-13. Other duties involved working alongside ATF, DEA, and ICE special agents in investigating human trafficking, illegal weapons, and counterfeit currency.  Leitha has provided protective details for various state and nationally elected officials.   Sworn in as Kerr County Sheriff on January 1, 2021, Leitha has received numerous state, national and international recognition and awards.

Join the Republican Women of Kerr County for their monthly General Meeting at the Inn of the Hills. Doors open at 11:15, lunch served at 11:30, and the meeting starting at Noon.

Each month will feature a Guest Speaker discussing a pressing topic related to our community, state, or nation. Candidates in upcoming run-off elections will be on hand.

Tickets are $28/person. Reservations are required for members and guests. Reserve your seat today, and bring a friend. Business casual dress is requested. Registration is available online at rwkctx.org or via email at rwkcreservations@gmail.com.
