Expect a hands-on, immersive experience—we will be getting wet!This clinic is ideal for new paddlers and those with limited experience who want to develop confidence on moving water. Instruction will focus on essential techniques, river reading, and safety in a supportive, small-group environment.LA Kayak Club has offered this weekend consistently for over two decades, introducing dozens and dozens of paddlers to the sport of whitewater kayaking. Whenever possible, we follow the American Canoe Association curriculum, including Essentials of River Kayaking and Kayaking.We’ll be prioritizing beginner participants, though those who have only paddled a few times may also find this a great fit.
