Working With an Illustrator With Lazarus Black

Illustrator and art director Lazarus Black will talk to us about working with an artist on your book. He’ll discuss what to expect and what your responsibilities are to facilitate a successful and professional collaboration.

Presenter bio:
Lazarus Chernik AKA Lazarus Black is an author of Fantasy and Science Fiction and every blend in between (also non-fiction).

But he is also a life-long artist, Art Director, and art studio manager (Creative Director), who has the privilege of being a judge for the prestigious Illustrators of the Future competition - putting him in the same sphere as Frank Frazetta, Wil Eisner, Bob Eggleton, Larry Elmore, and Echo Chernik. Basically, he know a thing or two about art.

Lazarus will join us via Zoom from the Pacific Northwest.

Guests are welcome to join us for two meetings before we ask you to join. Our meetings begin with a social time, lunch, and a short business meeting before our presentation.
