We’ll start tensioning the yarn around our neck the traditional way then adding a Portuguese pin or 2! We start with a new way to hold the yarn, a Portuguese cast on and then practice both knitting and purling our project inside out! 

For those wishing to advance into colorworks, we’ll practice Fair Isle using 2 knitting pins and 2 colors - this is a game changer!
