Drawing on his own journey — from law and governance to ethics and innovation — Eugene explores how this world-shaping technology can, and must, serve people rather than replace them. He’ll unpack how ethics, governance, and innovation intersect, and what it takes to build a world that is both digitally advanced and deeply human.Expect a provocative, thoughtful discussion that challenges your assumptions about AI, progress, and purpose — and perhaps, helps you see this new age through a more human lens.? About the SpeakerEugene Fedorchenko is a strategist and advisor working at the crossroads of ethics, innovation, and governance. As the founder of IntFinite, a think tank dedicated to navigating uncertainty in the era of Industry 5.0, he helps organisations translate emerging technologies into responsible, human-centric systems.Eugene’s path has spanned law, business development, and advisory roles across Europe and Asia, shaping his belief that ethics isn’t a constraint — it’s a compass. He has contributed to the Ukrainian Innovation Strategy 2030, developed cybersecurity and GRC education frameworks for the CEE region, and continues to work with global stakeholders on data privacy, AI governance, and ethical transformation.A member of the Ethical Intelligence expert community, Eugene is part of an international dialogue on how human decision-making evolves alongside intelligent machines.? The ExperienceThink less lecture, more live conversation among friends. You’ll listen as Eugene unpacks the ethical dilemmas and human challenges behind AI’s rapid ascent — asking what we should automate, what we must protect, and how we can stay meaningfully human in a digital world. After the talk, join the conversation yourself over a drink and shared food, surrounded by Melbourne’s most curious crowd. This is intellectual nightlife: great minds, great spirits, great company.?️ Event DetailsWhen: Wednesday, November 20 | Doors 6:00 PM | Talk 7:00 PM | Last drinks 9:00 PMWhere: [Nubilum Distilling — Kensington]An intimate, atmospheric venue known for its incredible spirits.Catered food will be provided, and drinks can be ordered via QR code throughout the lecture.?️ TicketsSeats are limited.Come curious.
