Bring your family and join us at the Douglas Family Art Centre on Saturday, February 14 from 3-4:30pm for a Valentine’s Day themed crafting spectacular!  This Family Crafternoon is all about hearts.  We’ll be creating heart-shaped wands and miniature wall-hangings, as well as heart-themed a watercolour painting using an oil pastel resist technique.

This activity is appropriate for children (ages 4+) with the assistance of adults.  Use of scissors and hot glue required to complete these projects.

Registration is required and can be completed online or in-person.  Space is limited, so please be register everyone attending in your group - parents included.  This program is being offered for FREE.* All materials are supplied.

*This program is being offered for FREE thanks to the generous support of Triple PLAY.  Triple PLAY is a non-profit that supports low-income families in Kenora in accessing Positive Leisure Activities for Youth (PLAY).  Funds donated to Triple PLAY support registration fees, equipment, and transportation costs to ensure all children have an equal opportunity to participate in leisure activities.  And it’s not just sports!  Lessons in music, dance, visual arts, and more are all covered under Triple PLAY’s umbrella.
