In this 6-week session of youth art classes for children ages 9-14, we will explore some of the wonders of the forest through a variety of fun art projects. The lessons will span a variety of artistic media and techniques including: drawing, painting, mixed media, and ceramics. Projects will include:
- Guided Drawing: Soft Pastel Owl
- Watercolour Mushrooms & Snails
- Mixed Media Miniature Animal Portrait Gallery
- Slab-rolled Ceramic Forest Creatures
- Oil Pastel Fauvist Forest Animal Portraits
- Stained-Glass Inspired Trees in Watercolour and Marker
This 6 week course will run Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00pm from December 3, 2025 – January 28, 2026. There will be no classes on December 17, 24, or 31.
The cost to register is $200 (no tax), or $180 (no tax) for MUSE members. Limited to 16 participants. All materials are supplied.
